Obverse: Woman in Renaissance dress, representing Italy, surrounded by 19 shields. Engraver's name: GIAMPAOLI.
Reverse: L.500 - REPVBBLICA ITALIANA. Christopher Columbus's ships: the Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa María. Mint mark and name of the engraver within the waves: VEROI.
Edge: REPVBBLICA ITALIANA ***1960***.
Used. Encapsulated and with a plastic sleeve.
