American Civil War Southern Cannon Dahlgren 1861 Miniature Replica
This is a lovely model of a Dahlgren 1861 Cannon. This Model Set is made of metal and wood. Historically, cannons like this one were stolen back and forth between the Union and Confederacy.This impressive miniature features a brass tone metal cannon barrel set on a wooden base. The plastic wheels actually turn with metal rims, so this miniature can roll about just like an old cannon would. On the side of the cannon, there is a small label that reads Dahlgren 1861. There are other historical details such as a rope bundle on top of the base.
