MEDAL FOR GOOD CONDUCT. ARMY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Instituted 1941, it is awarded to Army personnel for exemplary conduct, efficiency and fidelity during 3 year of active military service or for a during a time of war for one-year of service.
The Air Force used this Army Good Conduct Medal until it instituted its own in 1963.
Circular medal made in bronze. Measures: 32 mm. diameter.
