This Viper Mark I is the first model of the Colonial Viper space fighter line and was also known as the Starhound Class Viper.
These small, nimble, single-pilot ships were designed for both atmospheric and space flight and were stationed on Colonial Battlestars, each of which held a squadron of 75.
It was introduced to the military service not so long before the First Cylon War as a defensive counterattack against the Cylon Fleet.

The Blackbird Starship was built from scratch with available materials and resembled a Viper Ship. But its external armour was made from a black, non-reflective, carbon-fibre composite material, that masked its presence from both Cylon and Colonial radars, as well as gave the vessel its name. Equipped with enhanced sensors and surveillance systems, it was a perfect intelligence-gathering instrument.

Valkyrie was a formidable, long-serving Battlestar assigned to a range of duties, from black ops missions to orbital patrols.
A veteran warship built more than four decades before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, the Battlestar Valkyrie was initially deployed during the First Cylon War. The Valkyrie and sister ships in its class were an evolution of the design used for the original twelve-strong fleet of Battlestars, of which the Galactica was a notable example.
Following the Armistice, the Valkyrie was regularly upgraded and retrofitted. The ship was still in service when the Cylons ended the 40-year ceasefire, unleashing genocidal nuclear attacks on the Colonies.

Our Battlestar Galactica Collection returns with our latest addition, the "Astral Queen" Colonial Ship!
A prison ship capable of holding over 1000 prisoners, the Astral Queen was on its way to parole hearings on Caprica when the Cylons attacked. Faced with the impossibility of keeping control of its captives after the Fall of the Twelve Colonies, Captain Adama of the Galactica eventually ordered that the Astral Queen be turned over to its prisoners.
Organized by the ex-terrorist Tom Zarek, the former prisoners of the Astral Queen provided vital repairs to the rest of the refugee fleet. The ship became Zarek's power base, even propelling him to a seat on the Quorum of Twelve.
