Cross awarded to personnel who, having been proposed for promotion or for the Military Medal, do not fully accomplish the indicated conditions. Boxed. Well preserved!

The Campaign Medal 1936-1939 was a Spanish military decoration awarded between 1938 and 1939, during the Spanish Civil War by the Franco's Government. It was delivered to reward interventions in war operations, or services on rearguard lines.
It had a single category but had two different types: one intended to reward the combat actions in the fireline, and the other for services in the rearguard. All the ribbons had the colors of the Spanish flag, with its outer edges of black for merit of combat, or green for services in the rearguard.
50.000 medals were awarded: 48.000 went to reward combat merits, and 2.000 for services in the rearguard.
