It is conferred in three graded to both members and non-members for merit to the League.

Obverse: ZA ZASLUGI DLA LIGI OBRONY KRAJU (Merit for National Defense League) In the middle of the oval a stylized eagle holding in the talons liters of LOK.
Reverse: semicircular shield with the four line inscription SPOŁECZNY / TRUD- / OBRONNOŚCI / KRAJU (Collective work for country defense) with the crossed laurel and oak sprays below
