CHILD JESUS 30 cm. WITH CRADLE. OLOT SCHOOL (VYC-47)

CHILD JESUS OF WOOD PLATE AND GLASS EYES WITH WOODEN CRADLE FROM THE OLOT SCHOOL.

Manufactured in the Catalan School of Olot, which was the first religious imagery industry started in 1880 and which is currently still known as Talleres de Arte Cristiano.

Technique: cardboard paste, polychrome by hand and with glass eyes. Golden 5-ray crown. Curved olive wood child's crib that still preserves the original straw.

The characteristic seal of the Olot School on the back of the diaper is missing.

Period: Year: 1920-50

Measures: 20 cm. Without a crown. 40cm. with the crib.

Used item, with signs of use over the years and broken fingers on the left hand and foot, as can be seen in the photographs.

Own collection. Good condition. Well preserved!
