Made of silver. The hammer and sickle are made of an alloy of gold, silver, palladium and copper. The red star is made of gold and red enameled. In the center of the star is a silver pentagon with the image of the cruiser Aurora participating in the October Revolution.
Obverse: ОКТЯБРЬСКАЯ РЕВОЛЮЦИЯ (OCTOBER REVOLUTION)
The size of the order between the opposite peaks of the enamel star is 43 mm. The distance from the center to the top of any of the star's rays is 22 mm.
Reverse: The concave reverse contains the number 79.174 and the stamp of the mint.
