Blue cross, with gold fillet and equal arms; in the centre appears also a gold crown and four crossed swords made of the same metal, only the fists of them are visible in the angles of the cross; by means of a golden ring it hangs of a blue ribbon, with white list in the centre, of a quarter of the total and passed by a buckle of gold from current type.
Cross awarded to personnel who, having been proposed for promotion or for the Military Medal, do not fully accomplish the indicated conditions. Boxed. Well preserved!
Sample Replica medal. Very nice decoration, but this is not an original one: it's a conversion circa 1990's-2000's.
This piece has been reconverted from the previous model (change of the fund of oxidized silver and imperial crown to a fund of blue enamel and royal crown), in order to recreate the version that was official between 1997 and 2003, and of which there is no constance of its manufacturing, as no concessions occur (or scheduled).
It is therefore intended to fill the hollow in the exhibitor, and it would be difficult to get through another meaning that was not his craft manufacture.
This model was modified by Decree 2422/1975, of August 23, which approves the Regulations of various awards, including this one. This modification consisted of replacing the oxidized silver background with another one in blue enamel, and the imperial crown for the royal one.
Set with luxury box, cross medal with enamels and multi-piece construction and ribbon bar. In excellent condition. From own collection.
